The position of School Crossing Guard is part-time employment during the school year at an assigned post. The main responsibility of the position is facilitating the safe crossing of children at a specified intersection.

- $20.19 per hour
- Monday-Friday (excluding school holidays, school closing)
Requirements
- Applicants must possess: good observation and communication skills, be dependable and punctual, be in good physical condition which would commensurate with the demands of the position and must have reliable transportation.
Special Notes
- At time of appointment, the applicant may be required to perform tasks associated with the position to ensure they are physically capable of performing required functions.
- A School Crossing Guard is not a member of the uniformed Police Department of a municipality and does not perform police duties.
